Hi Lynn, hope all is good with you and pain gone. If anything, we got your mind off of it anyways. Marcel...I had my lower back operated on and they kind of took out bone that was settled on the nerves and just aggravating them. I ended up in the ER on Sunday (Dale took me) and spent the entire day there with this ungodly pain in my left leg all the way from my thigh to my lower back and down the lateral compartment of my leg. It's a very, very, very slow process of healing. It has been 2 weeks (Yesterday) that I had the surgery and I am not allowed to sit or stand for more than 15 minutes for the first 3 weeks or drive a car. I have been doing MUCH more than 15 minutes of sitting as I have things to do for NACBI and I just didn't think it was that big of a deal. An MRI showed a signfificant amount of blood had pooled together from the surgery and I was bleeding inside and this fluid caused extra pressure on the nerves. SO now I am doing exactly what they say as I am still in so much pain. I actually do not think this surgery got all the degenerative bone off the sciatic nerves. We will see. Thank you for asking my friend. I cannot remember and I apologize in advance for this, you did have back surgery right years ago? How did that work out for you?
