A couple good articles.  Ran into some similar symptoms today on an inspection. Ranch home on a slab. Brick veneer, fiberboard sheathing and 73% RH inside the wall cavity. Mildew odors throughout the home. strongest at the south facing walls and southwest bedroom.  Owners thought they had a leak... they were partially correct.

Overlooked this gem!

It would go right along with some of Ray's upcoming issues.
